To create a practical training environment, in the afternoon of February 26, 2021, the signing ceremony between the University of Transport and Communications, Campus in Ho Chi Minh City (UTC-PH.HCM) and Vietnam Logistics Research and Development Institute (VLI) concerning Coordinate Training - Scientific Research - Technology Transfer took place at the Campus in Ho Chi Minh City.

Attending the signing ceremony, on the side of the UTC-PH.HCM, Dr. Vo Truong Son - Vice General Director of UTC-HCMC Campus, Dr. Ngo Chau Phuong - Head of Science, Technology and International Cooperation Office, MSc. Tran Phong Nha - Deputy Head of Academic Affairs Office, Dr. Pham Phu Cuong - Dean of Transport - Economics Faculty, MSc. Vo Xuan Ly - Director of Center for Practical Training and Technology Transfer in Transport. On the side of VLI, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ho Thi Thu Hoa - Director of VLI, MSc. Vo Thi Phuong Lan - Member of the Executive Committee cum Head of Training Committee of Vietnam Association of Logistics Services, MSc. To Thi Hang - Training and Consulting Manager, MSc. Hoang Van Thuc - Bussiness Developer Leader.
 
VLI is the first Science - Technology organization of the international logistics and logistics industry in Vietnam. The Institute was established on November 1, 2010, by Decision No. 21 / QD - VIFFAS; Certificate of operation registration: 242 / DK-KHCN, it was established by Vietnam Logistics Service Business Association - VLA (formerly it was Vietnam Logistics and Logistics Association - VIFFAS).
The Institute has the mission of gathering human resources, conducting research, consulting, training, and technology transfer, making a positive contribution to the development of Vietnam's Logistics industry.

In order to improve the effectiveness of cooperation activities in the fields of training coordination and applied research, UTC-PH.CMC and VLI affirm that the opponent is a strategic partner of each other, ensuring long-term cooperation, lasting.

Through cooperation, the two sides support each other to promote the strengths of each party in the fields of operation and business under the orientation of each party by the law, ensuring mutual trust for service. societal needs; With specific agreement on the following areas:
1. Cooperation in training human resources
2. Cooperation in research and application of science and technology and consulting
3. Cooperate in awarding scholarships, rewards to excellent students, and jobs for graduates
4. Exchange of information

With the signing of an MOU at the beginning of the new year, the Campus in Ho Chi Minh City, as well as VLI, have affirmed their determination to accompany and help create the best educational environment for students, especially in the field of Logistics and supply chain management. Hopefully, in the coming time, the two sides will quickly realize the signed terms and train the country as a source of high-quality labor in the field of Logistics.
