MOU signing ceremony between the University of Transport and Communications (UTC) and Tay Nguyen University (TNU)

To create a practical training environment, in the afternoon of March 24, 2021, the signing ceremony between the University of Transport and Communications (UTC) and Tay Nguyen University (TNU) concerning Coordinate Training - Scientific Research - Technology Transfer took place at the Campus in Ho Chi Minh City.

Attending the signing ceremony, on the side of TNU, PhD. Nguyen Thanh Truc - President. On the side of the UTC, Prof. Nguyen Ngoc Long - President, Prof. Nguyen Thanh Chuong - Party Committee Secretary cum Vice President, Prof. Nguyen Van Hung - Vice President cum General Director of UTC-HCMC Campus

Tay Nguyen University (TNU) was founded on November 11, 1977 under the Vietnamese Government's decision No.298/CP. After 40 years of establishment and development, TNU has trained over 27.000 students, including more than 1716 ethnic minority students. TNU has also trained 11 doctoral students and over 1209 master students in Forestry – Agriculture, Biology, Veterinary Science and Parasitology – Entomology, 130 students in General internal medicine and General surgery.

In order to improve the effectiveness of cooperation activities in the fields of training coordination and applied research UTC and TNU affirm that the opponent is a strategic partner of each other, ensuring long-term cooperation, lasting.

Through cooperation, the two sides support each other to promote the strengths of each party in the fields of operation and business under the orientation of each party by the law, ensuring mutual trust for service societal needs with specific agreement on the following areas:
1. Coordinate development of training programs
2. Reciprocal exchange of students, teachers and teacher-research
3. Cooperation in organizing training, scientific research, exchanging of documentation and publications.
With the signing of an MOU, hopefully, in the coming time, the two sides will quickly realize the signed terms.
